Buying steps to consider

BUYER REPRESENTATION: This step is extremely important, so choose wisely. Your Realtor should have the experience to guide you professionally through the buying process.This process will be as smooth as possible with the guidance of your Realtor assisting you through all the complex and legal pitfalls surrounding the purchase of a home. I will be there from start to finish.

MORTGAGE APPROVAL: It is important to get pre-approved by a mortgage specialist or a mortgage broker immediately. This will allow you to make an informed decision in the buying process.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE: Familiarize yourself with potential monthly, bi-weekly, or weekly payment options. This will help you to properly plan your budget.

AREA: Location! Location! Location! Determine where you would like to live and what your criteria is. You may need to consider school districts, bus routes, shopping convenience just to name a few.

NEEDS & WANTS: Prioritize what is most important to you. For e.g. how many bedrooms? Baths? Garage? Basement? Budget? This will assist your Realtor to narrow down the search. I also suggest creating a needs and wants list with must have's clearly outlined.

START THE SEARCH: Your Realtor will now begin the search tailored to your individual needs. The fun begins.  Be ready to shop!
